ABOUT
I am an engineer, musician, and designer whose passion is spaces, sound, and their effects
deaf on one side, struggled in loud restaurants, left out of conversation. My early
experiences in choirs featured singing in art museums, cathedrals, and historic
homes, hearing how the sound shifted in each space. My undergraduate capstone
on us. This focus has followed me throughout my life. I listened as my mother, who is

projects focused on bedroom production, addressing the instruments, equipment, and
setting and how they affected the art and the person. My internships and jobs in audio
recording allowed me to experience how different spaces affected the performances of the
musicians and final recordings. My Masters thesis used the resonant frequencies of churches obtained through acoustic measurements to create vocal compositions, making the acoustics of the space an instrument in the piece. I have used my education and work experience to bolster my knowledge of how sound moves and how it is transmitted as well as how it is composed and experienced. Now using my knowledge of acoustics, signal processing, and sound, I want to improve the aural experiences of musicians and non-musicians alike.
